Problems heard on voice nets: 1. passing too much traffic on net freq 2. not enough call ups 3. when possible always get the lesser amounts of traffic listed out first 4. abbreviating the handling instructions in the preamble 5. sending too fast: send in phrases, good diction using proper prowords 6. improper ways to request fills - vague pointers 7. using initials for states in the preamble and address and months 8. improper way to list traffic: always list as destination first, then the number going to that destination. 9. imporper way of receiving traffic: should be "roger" 10. leaving the net without permission 11. when traffic passed, the sending station gives control back to the NCS; receiving station always calls the sending station. 12. sending "73" and not "figures 73" 13. using proword "over": should be used 14. NCS sometimes fails to ID enough 15. The beginning of a messagre is the "preable", not the "header"
